Güdenläwd was born in 2003, Sao Paulo, Brazil, when Guitar Player/Lead Singer Roberto Costabile Jr. put together his first songs on a Demo, some of which he had been playing in other projects.
By this time, Some of the ideas have evolved, resulting in a "straight to the point" material.
To complete the line up is Sergio Roma on Bass and Ademir Pereira Junior on Drums.

Back in november 2004, the band recorded its First Demo release.
The project received very good reviews at the Heavy Music local Press, who always praised it's classic influences, great songwriting and well defined style.

For the first Demo release they played at the underground circuit in São Paulo. Even in Small Clubs Gigs, they always achieved great response from the audience, thanks to the high energy of the performances.
